Gene Gragg, owner of Metal Works, has a fine arts degree from
Washington University in St. Louis. While there, he studied with renowned
goldsmith/artist Heiki Seppa. With over 25 years of experience, Gene
Gragg and Metal Works are known throughout the area for innovative
designs, skilled craftsmanship, and solid business practices.
Store History
We just entered our seventh year as a retail store. Prior to opening our
retail location, Metal Works was a successful custom-design business,
serving a wide variety of jewelry stores, and a select group of private
customers.
Our Staff
We make a practice of supporting our local schools. We often bring in
interns from Ball State University's fine arts program and assistants from a
successful relationship with Yorktown High School's ICE (Interdisciplinary
Cooperative Education) program.
